Venue Messe München: The newly chosen location ARCHITECT@WORK, which presented here for the first time in 2019, was already a great success. Thus, organisers and exhibitors can hardly wait to finally welcome their visitors here again in 2022. The expectations after the involuntary break are high. This is already shown by the figures in the run-up, because the exhibition areas are completely booked up. In just under two months, the time will come again when the doors open to the innovative showcase of architectural highlights.
True to the motto "never change a winning team", ARCHITECT@WORK is once again deliberately relying on familiar formats. Under the title "HEALTHY.MATERIALS", raumprobe - a long-standing partner of the fair - will focus in its fifth special show for ARCHITECT@WORK on health-relevant, sustainable and ecological materials and, in addition to the materials, processes and procedures, will also address their cycle processes from development to recycling, as well as their influence on people and the environment.
Also on board is once again the presentation of outstanding projects by architects, interior designers, lighting planners and landscape architects, selected by the World-Architects platform. For the first time, the 40 international and wide-ranging designs from all categories shown on the ARCHITECT@WORK project wall will be accompanied by interviews with architects.
Of course, the microphones will not be left cold either: Hannes Bäuerle from raumprobe will kick off the series of lectures in connection with the special show with his contribution "Criteria and exemplary saviours". Also speaking on this first day of the fair are Merano architect Christina Biasi - von Berg from the architecture firm biquadra and Munich architect Alexandra Wagner from allmannwappner. Day two is also full of women's power: Professor Tina Kammer from InteriorPark and Munich architect Dorothee Maier from meierei flank Professor Amadeus Samsøe Sattler with their contributions "Let's transform together" and "Es grünt so grün".
The spring-like mood of optimism can already be felt in the preparations for this edition of ARCHITECT@WORK: the motivation is greater than ever and the omens for a successful trade fair appearance are high. But Munich is only the beginning of a whole series of trade fairs that will take place in 2022: You can already take advantage of the opportunity and secure a place for the editions in Vienna (12 + 13 October 2022), Berlin (19 + 20 October 2022) and for the first time in Frankfurt (07 + 08 December 2022).
